Pohang Korea Competition 2 |
| Kim Oo Hyun produced this video of our Big Bird club Master Cho Young Gun and our newest pilot's 1st flight. Club tradition requires new pilots to drink a helmet filled by all club members with beer, soju, mockalee, and whatever else gets thrown in, and to put the helmet on after drinking it. We didn't have the helmet with us in Pohang, so a large bowl substituted nicely. Our newest pilot displays a true game spirit. Congratulations!!! | |

Pohang Korea Competition 1 |
| This is a video produced by one of our new Big Bird school members Kim Oo Hyun of a paragliding competition held near Pohang S. Korea. The event had to be moved inland about 15 miles because the winds near the coast were too strong. Most but not all our members have a black bird on their wing. Winds were still quite strong and almost 45 degrees cross at the take-off site, so Allen did not get to fly. Can you guess which take off was me? | |

| Christopher is learning to paraglide. He is exceptionally coordinated and is progressing well as seen here. He is nearly ready for a high solo flight. Unforunately we are now in the midwest and the nearest mountain is 1000 miles away. | |
