2 March 2008 afternoon, Barrie, Ontario.
I started taxiing Mandy the XCitor away from shore and crowds on a frozen lake, when, to my horror, the wing pounced on the prop right after coming up. The video stops short of showing me cursing like mad and kicking the tires.
The wind was very light, coming 20-30 degs from the right. Mandy should have been able to handle it easily.
I believe I know the reason (which can be inferred from watching the videos, but not obvious), but I thought I should put it up here and hear other's theories first. The inflation technique was identical to one I used a few days earlier in very similar circumstances, so, in trying to figure what caused this surprise, I thought it would be useful to compare them side-by-side.
