Big thanks to Gordie for the invitation to take part in the Lakes Charity Classic 2008 to raise money for local good causes and another thanks to all I met who made me and Laura feel very welcome. Hospitality in the Lakes is top stuff. The first time I haven't had to walk to launch here in the UK, a helicopter ride to 2000ft makes life so much easier. Thanks to Mark Weir of Honister Slate Mine, the chopper pilot for the ride.Good to meet the acro boys from Lucky Clowns and Terry from Scottland, hope to fly with you all again sometime.
